其實很早已前就有了



以前有個做網站很多年的朋友(現在已經沒做了)



結案的時候



都會跟客人收一個月一兩千的維護費



他跟我說



你看 一間收一千 你做一百間 一個月就有10萬



一間收五千 一個月就有50萬



就很好過了



那時候我也是想



對啊 一個月收50萬 好爽喔



但收了 相對要幹什麼事情嗎



好像沒有



朋友的說法是



就請個妹子



幫客人修修圖啊 上架 就搞定了



講白一點就是沒幹嘛





網站公司都想收這個錢 老實說我也想



因為對公司來講



就多了一個固定收入



但對客戶來講



也就多了一個固定支出



客戶花錢 理當就要得到相對應的東西



講服務 客人無感啦





我曾經多次跟不同的客戶提要收維護費這件事情



客戶大部分的回覆都是



"那我能拿到什麼"



"如果我這個月沒叫你幹嘛 那我的錢不就白花了?"



"網站做好又沒幹嘛 我為什麼要多付這個錢?"



"不維護網站也不會怎樣啊"





說真的我也講不出個所以然



所以也只好作罷





但你也知道



網站做好了 開始營運



問題才會浮現



有的客人很天真啊



不小心刪除資料 刪除圖片



花了好幾天 幾個禮拜上傳好的產品資料



就沒了 怎麼辦?



其實我們主機都天天備份



還原就好了



但你說我提供這個服務



要不要成本 當然要啊



所以客人要這個服務 要不要付錢?





還有一個最常見的案例



就是服務改版



網站通常不會獨立運作



會串一些服務 (例如 fb)



當服務改版的時候



網站就會有無法正常運作的風險



那...這時責任在誰身上?



比較不講理的客人



他會要你修



阿 fb 在這客人網站有生之年 會改幾次



我怎麼會知道?



我怎麼可能幫你改一輩子?



買一台車



正常的話 頂多也才開十年



你看原廠保固會送你幾年 頂多兩年啊



換輪胎 換機油 要不要錢?



還是要啊



你怎麼不跟車廠凹說幫我維護一輩子?



你就去盧吧 看車廠會不會鳥你?



但很奇怪



做網站 就是有客人敢這樣凹





還有就是



出上面這些問題的時候



維護廠商的反應時間



當然出問題也有可能是廠商 code 沒寫好導致的



但一般網站完成 都會有測試/驗收流程啊



合約都會規範



如果過了這段時間沒發現問題



就當作沒問題了





好 如果合約都走完了 網站也驗收了



網站有問題以致於無法運作



廠商要在多短時間內維修好?





當然也是有客戶懂這個道理



要人家服務 相對的就是要付出費用



那相對於沒付費的客戶



出問題的時候



要先處理誰的?



當然是有付費的客戶啊



天經地義



所以是否支付維護費



跟廠商對問題的反應時間有關係



這樣基於客戶立場的你 應該懂了吧?





其實維護費的概念 就像是買保險

好像是廠商脅迫客戶收的費用



換句話說



客戶付了這個費用



即使是這個月沒發生事情 不需要修理



不就是客人最想要的情況嗎?



有人保了車險 這個月沒撞車



會想說



"阿 這個月都沒拿到保險公司的好處 虧我繳了這麼多錢"

"來去路口撞他一下好了 討點費用回來"



還是你會跟保險公司說



"阿我保了兩年都沒發生什麼事情 多少退我一點保費吧?"



這人腦袋肯定有問題





講難聽一點啊



台灣人的心態真的有問題



就講保險好了



就有人覺得花了保險的費用 什麼都沒拿到 好像很虧



所以就有什麼投資型保單 之類的東西出來



讓你保本三小的



那都是腦袋有問題的客戶



保險就保險 哪裡還讓你可以賺錢







所以以後 再次面對維護費



如果你是客戶



這個維護合約 要注意的項目是



1. 是否能保障我在這段期間網站正常營運?



2. 廠商是否可以在合理的反應時間 做網站問題的排除?



3. 這段期間的支付費用 是否划算?



4. 也許沒事的時候 這些費用可以轉為其他用途?

(例如修東西 或是規格修改時抵用/折扣)



5. 不要想要回本 這是風險平均分攤的概念





如果你是廠商



1. 盡可能的提升你的服務項目跟品質 作為收費的依據



2. 排定專人 作為反應客戶網站問題的處理人員

(例如LINE 或是客服系統)



3. 建立問題處理的 SOP

有遇過的問題 都要有固定的處理流程

可以的話 在收取維護費之前 就讓客戶知道



沒遇過的問題 在發生後要進行檢討

並進快完成 SOP

發佈給客戶知道





結論



維護 其實也是一項服務



既然是服務 就要付錢



要服務 又不想付錢



這叫 "吃霸王餐"
