今天跟軟哥聊到工作

然後不知道為什麼

聊到網路產業這個主題

其實網路已經不是所謂的新興產業或是什麼高科技業



隨著網路越來越發達

已經變成傳統產業了

很少 idea 是因為像網路剛出來的時候

可以純粹靠 技術

而把市場做起來的



因為產業成熟了

不只是懂技術的人在玩

所以一切都回歸到基本面



東西做出來

就是要靠銷售/行銷人員去推



最近遇到一個真的是血淋淋的例子

我跟朋友合作開發一套套版網站

這也不是什麼新東西 或是很技術的東西

其實就是降低成本 規格化的產品



當產業發展到一個程度

就是會輪到這一天

降低成本/增加產能/增加銷售

一直以來都是這樣



東西是開發出來了

該有的都有了

但是銷售不盡理想



我問了一些朋友的意見跟想法

剛好有個朋友也在做類似的東西

但是他的產品

六七年間都沒改過



同一套程式

只是換設計皮而已

講白一點就是叫視覺設計師改改圖而已

layout/程式功能 完全沒改

就這樣賣了七年

做了無數個網站



我聽到這件事情真是打擊甚鉅

我做網站做了十來年

我的價值到底在哪裡啊?



人家七八年前的東西一直複製

也是在開網站賺錢

那我每天跟技術 (技術還不是最好的)

幫客人做的這些東西

有值這個錢嘛?



這也難怪為什麼有的公司明明標榜網路或是科技公司

但是整個公司很明顯就是業務在主導公司營運

因為產品銷售還是要靠業務系統

產品再好 沒有業務人員銷售

也是堆在倉庫的庫存成本



我就跟軟哥說

你看電車上一堆人

阿公阿嬤都在用智慧型手機

他們真的很會用嘛

(大概只有科技宅宅才稱得上很會用)

我想這些人 賣什麼應該都很厲害

跟賣的東西本質無關

只要通透銷售的本質



沒有好賣的產品 只有賣的好的產品

如果你精通 C/C++

其他語言應該也是大同小異

因為程式語言都差不多



會擔心每年都有新程式語言而學不完的人

在業務界應該也不會有太好的成績吧
